Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-21.1 · Last updated 21 October 2026

Draft for legal review — not final

These terms are a review draft published for transparency. A qualified UK lawyer must review them before SingAlong charges money. They are provided as-is and do not constitute legal advice.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Delight Design Ltd (“we”, “us”), operator of the SingAlong website and application (the “Service”). By creating an account you agree to them. Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these Terms.

1. Who we are and how to reach us

The Service is operated by Delight Design Ltd, registered at 71–75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Contact: info@delightdsgn.com. Company registration number: 12789966.

2. Agreeing to these Terms

You must be legally able to enter this agreement, or have a parent or guardian enter it on your behalf and take responsibility for your use. You must provide accurate account information.

3. Your account and security

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at info@delightdsgn.com if you believe your account is compromised. We may suspend or block accounts that breach these Terms; a blocked account shows a notice in the app and you may contact us about it.

4. What the Service does — and what it is not

SingAlong analyses audio you upload or record: it separates stems, detects musical key, tracks pitch and generates practice feedback. Results are machine-generated estimates. Accuracy varies with recording quality, and we do not warrant that results are correct, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose such as assessment, performance, or professional use. The Service is provided for practice and entertainment, not as a professional audio-engineering, educational-assessment or medical tool.

Processing capacity is finite. If the processing worker is unavailable your job is rejected safely and you may retry; we do not guarantee continuous availability (see section 11).

5. Plans, features and limits

  • Free: 1 Academy practice round and 1 processed song per day (Sing and Split share the daily counter; resets at midnight UTC).
  • Premium: unlimited Academy rounds and 5 processed songs per day, and the full Academy tier progression (Bronze to Gold).

Daily limits are enforced server-side per account. We may change the feature split and limits with reasonable notice in the app; material reductions for paying subscribers will be notified to you.

6. Prices, billing, renewal and refunds

No payment is currently collected. Premium is offered free while checkout is being prepared; a price will be published on the Pricing page and in the checkout before any charge, and your recorded acceptance of these Terms at the time of purchase (plus the order confirmation) will govern that purchase. Our full Billing & Cancellation policy covers auto-renewal, failed payments, cancellation and refunds, including applicable statutory cancellation rights and what happens if you ask us to start the service during a cancellation period.

7. Your content: licence, warranty, and who owns what

You keep all rights you hold in the songs, recordings and material you upload or record (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, revocable licence only to operate the Service for you: to store Your Content in your private storage, transmit it to our processing workers, and return results to you. We do not publish, sell, or sub-licence Your Content, and we do not use your voice recordings to train AI models without a separate, explicit opt-in you can withdraw (see the Privacy Notice).

By uploading or recording audio, you confirm that you have the rights and permissions necessary for your personal use of the Service, including its storage, processing and return of results, and that this does not infringe anyone’s copyright, personality rights, or other rights. Our Copyright policy explains your responsibilities and how to report infringement.

8. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • upload content you have no right to use, or content that is unlawful, hateful, or harassing;
  • record other people’s voices without their permission;
  • probe, scan, or test the system’s vulnerabilities, or circumvent daily limits, quotas, or tier gates;
  • interfere with or load the Service disproportionately (automated job submission beyond normal personal use);
  • resell, scrape, or republish the Service or its outputs as your own product.

We may act on breaches: warning, removing the content concerned, suspending processing, or terminating repeat offenders, proportionate to the breach.

9. Takedown

If you believe content processed through SingAlong infringes your rights, use our Copyright takedown process. We preserve the report and act on valid notices promptly.

10. Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury from negligence, fraud, and your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that: the Service is provided on an “as is” basis; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of £100 and the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for the accuracy of machine-generated analysis, or for loss of Your Content — please download recordings you value (the app gives you export tools).

11. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it. Maintenance, worker cold-starts (the processing worker may take about a minute to wake), and third-party outages happen. Persistent unavailability is not something you may claim damages for beyond the remedies in our billing policy (refunds for periods you paid for and could not use).

12. Ending your account

You may delete your account at any time from My account; this erases your profile, usage records, consent records and all audio we hold for you. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, giving notice where reasonable.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we publish a new version, the in-app acceptance gate will ask every signed-in user to accept the new version before continuing to use the Service; we record which version you accepted and when, on our servers. Material changes affecting paying subscribers’ core rights will additionally be announced by email where we may lawfully contact you.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing affects your mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
